Open it with 3dsmax or renx and then edit it. Search the web about tutorials.

Alex, hello. Excellent work. I have a suggestion, maybe you thou hast gathered in the U.S. with the logo of the upper frontal sheet Abrams? Or transfer the logo somewhere else! It would be much better looking!
nice looking model :) there is actually only one tiny problem with the texture, because M1 Abrams has seven road wheels, not six :)

finally a M1A2 tank that has the gray metal i've been looking for one for so long now.
Nice job keeping the vehicle design style of generals while getting the model right. I've used mods where people tried to get them realistic and it just didn't feel right. This is better.
