USA doesnt use star streak missiles. UK does. USA would be Stinger also. Russia = Igla and GLA = old strela.
GLA is using stinger, so I don't think it is so bad US to use UK armament :)
Well, if you want to make this mod realistic, I would give USA stinger. GLA could be one using Streak. Just my suggestion.
Look in the game it doesn't matter how you name it :)
More important is game balance and fun factor. This is what I point hand to hand with real weapons

Yes but GLA doesn't have any manufacturers, as it is a make-believe alliance, therefore, they can use whatever they want
well during soviet invasion of Afghanistan the Americans heavily armed the guerillan with stingers to shoot down russian helis

You should make the Russian Infantry use Digital Flora adopted in 2008 and not pre-2008 simple Flora. This is the camouflage pattern of course.
