What if GDI and Nod failed to defeat CABAL during the Firestorm Crisis? With both organizations destroyed by CABAL, nothing was stopping the rogue AI from conquering the world, replacing humanity with cybernetics. The Forgotten, out of the way for much of the Firestorm Crisis, now find themselves being hunted down, conflicted between fortifying their sanctuaries and actively waging a guerrilla war for their own survival. The years of unchecked Tiberium growth would also eventually attract the Scrin, expecting Earth to be devoid of hostile life. Their ignorance would only end up thrusting them into the war between CABAL and the Forgotten mutants, a dangerous situation due to their unpreparedness but their desire for the Tiberium Ichor drives them to destroy anything that stands in their way. A new Tiberium War is about to begin between CABAL, the Forgotten, and the Scrin. Conquest, survival, addiction. For whom will you fight for?

Description

* This support power is unique to the Wasteland Scavengers subfaction

The Scavengers has always relied on underhanded tactics in order to outplay their enemies as they lack the raw strength to take them head-on. And what better way to mess with them than by using good old fashioned decoys? Doppelgangers are fake vehicles assembled from surplus scrap, armed with weapons that fire duds, and loaded with "explosive surprises". To enemies they are virtually indistinguishable from real Mongooses and Bowlers, enabling crafty Chieftains to mix them in with his attack forces to serve as cheap cannon fodder or build up fake battalions for diversionary attacks. There is a reason these distractions are piloted by suicidal individuals. After they have depleted their fake weapons of ammo, they will charge at their targets and self-destruct on them, exploding violently and damaging anything nearby. Alternately, they can be ordered to self-destruct at will. These explosions will not trigger if they are destroyed by enemy fire, making it even harder to tell whether any in group of vehicles are in fact bomb carriers. Four Doppelgangers can be airdropped to where they are needed once a Scrapyard has been built.
