The Dark Times is a Star Wars Battlefront II mod with a heavy single-player focus. It adds many new features to the game, including (but not limited to!) wave modes, randomized units, heroes, and skyboxes, and AI hero support. Its sequel, Rising Son, adds more of the above as well as several new maps and scripted missions.

Very cool! I like the grand scale of the map...
Does the lighting mean it is dusk or dawn?
It just seems pale without a lot of contrast

The screenshots here show a "dusk" time of day; there is also a completely "nighttime" setting as well as a "rainy dusk." The lighting in all of these is similar (although obviously it is darker at night).

I intentionally did variations on a dark theme to convey the appropriate "deep woods" atmosphere. It also lets me do a forest without being a huge resource hog - if I wanted to have the appropriate number and scale of "godrays" to make a sunny/daytime look work, it would overuse some lighting effects.

I get it. So you had to sacrifice some lighting to keep the frame rates up. I still looks pretty good.
Any chance of larger resolution screenshots for wallpaper?
Great job!

To be honest, any higher-res shots will have to be taken by someone other than me. I have a low-spec computer and I run the game in 800*600 (thus the screenshot resolution). I might be able to bump it up to 1024*768 but right now screenshots are not a priority. As release draws closer, perhaps.
