Half-Life: The Core is a classic retelling of the events surrounding the Resonance Cascade disaster from a new perspective. Featuring intense action, complex puzzles and believable narrative through all-new locations in Black Mesa with remarkable visual fidelity, pacing and humour.
A quick, impromptu and unscripted ramble about the state of The Core. Where is it? What's happening? Etc.
Very interesting rambling to be honest. I suppouse this means we will get a follow up blog post sometime around 2034, right?
Best of luck to you and the team. Like you said, people change, times change. I'm sure most of the people following the mod in here for a long time knows that at heart.
Thanks for the update, Urby! Stoked to hear about this REDACTED project as much as The Core at this point!
Yep, I'll still be hanging in there, like I'm hanging in there for many things. Gotta be honest, I was kinda scared when I saw the title
I don't care when you release it. Maybe 10-15 years later. I WILL play it. Do NOT abandon it, please!
P.S. I wrote this while haven't seen the end yet. So glad to hear that!
Lovely blog and sentiment. Yap times changed and so did we. Yet here we all are still loving this very game of our childhood honoring it and caring for it. I'm confident that we will enter the Core or not at some point into the future. :)
Thanks for the update - I can totally relate also I'm not working on a mod currently :)
Hey everyone. Thanks for the positive feedback on this video. It was literally a spur of the moment thing and my fellow Scotch and Coffee people pointed out that I don't actually say a great deal... sooo, maybe I'll make a follow up in a few days. Maybe make this a regular thing, who knows.
Anyway, as I said in the video, thanks for hanging in there. I'm always very happy to see a few familiar names appearing in the comments amongst the newcomers. :D
Nice clock easter egg ;)
Still waitig. I really want to play The Core. Good luck!
> twelve years of development
Kek, have same **** %))
"Don't work on a mod for more than a decade." XD
