ThaneWulfgharn's Realistic Faction Colors v.1.0
Full VersionRelease 1.0 of "ThaneWulfgharn's Realistic Faction Colors" mod. Includes more realistic colors for Red Alert factions.
As I never liked the idea of having red vs blue vs purple tanks and infantry in the newer remakes of the original C&C games, I made a small modification replacing the old faction colors with newer, more realistic-looking ones.
Each of the colors is inspired from the uniforms or tank paintings of the ingame factions.
The list of replacements is as below:
- Yellow -> Khaki (inspired from Turkish WW1 uniforms)
- Blue -> Light Blue (more realistic looking) (STANDARD ALLIED)
- Red -> Tan (of Afghanka Soviet uniforms)*
- Green -> European Green*, meant for Greece and Spain.
- Orange -> Grey (meant for Germany)
- Teal -> Snow Camo (a bit more in Allied Style but Soviets can use as well)
- Purple -> French Green
- Pink -> USSR Olive Green (STANDARD SOVIET)
*CREDITS: Jozef for his Realistic faction colors mod as well as his tutorial to replace colors. I also used his Soviet uniform color as a basis for mine while I borrowed his European Green code(which he realized for his mod as I suggested).
