Temple+ v1.0 Released
We are pleased to announce the first release of project Temple+, an Engine Enhancement and Bugfixes mod for ToEE.
Temple+ enables replacing original ToEE C code with our own brand new 1's and 0's. This has allowed us to do things that have never before been possible with ToEE modding, such as fixing many old and stubborn hardcoded bugs, improving UI behavior, enhancing the core pathfinding algorithm, and much much more. In particular, the entire rendering system has been overhauled for compatibility with modern systems, which also fixes the graphical issues encountered by Win10 users.
We are very excited by the opportunities this opens up for gameplay and modding, and look forward to working with the community to shape the future of ToEE. For us, it is a chance to realize the GotY Edition ToEE never had It is furthermore an open-source project, hosted on GitHub - everyone can contribute, whether it be code or documentation on the on-site Wiki.
This first release of Temple+ (v1.0) is focused on laying the foundations for future expansion, replacing many of the original systems with our own. Building on this base, we have many plans for the future, including a thorough UI overhaul, new Classes, Feats and Spell Effects, smarter AI, and so on. You'll already find a glimpse of that in 1.0, and it's only going to get better! In between major releases, you'll also be able to enjoy automated updates to keep current with minor enhancements and fixes.

out of main plot
something that original game lacks is the freedom of going out of city and explore forests, caves and other places
is all focused in the temple

I agree, but this mod is focused on the engine and not content. The Co8 mod does a good job of expanding the content.
As for level cap, if you use Co8 you should, otherwise it doesn't really matter because the game will be over before you reach higher levels than that (unless you're playing a solo char).
Head's up: My PC right now is a Windows 10, and Window Defender labels the "TemplePlusSetup107.exe" a virus and removes it automatically. I'm sure the setup.exe is clean, but Windows has issues with it.
Maybe the author of this mod might want to place the exe file in a zip to lessen false virus claims from software, although I don't know if that would actually eliminate the problem.

I have, and they just ignored it... if this is going to happen there has to be vocal demand from the players.
Other than that, Temple+ is copatible with Co8 by design, so it's just a matter of convenience.

Any chance this be made working on Win XP? Imagine my surprise when i was about to install this mod on my legacy games rig.

Is there any chance to get this awesome mod on Mac version of the game? Or, at least, is there any workarounds to run it on top of the GOG's mac version of ToEE?
Sorry, but mac is not supported. I'm not familiar with any workarounds.
Finally, lvl 50, this will make my time worthy, i never played the game through becuase of the lame cap -.-....lvl 10 ? srsly ? what were they thinking -.-
Does this deal with the poor performance on modern systems?
