Hey guys and girls, Mine Co. here again with another update concerning the mod.
Firstly, I am fully aware of the problems this mod has, but rest assured, I am working to correct them. This is my first mod, so I'm still learning about the best ways to make a custom story, but I promise I'll get better. Thank you so much for your feedback!
Secondly, I WILL REMOVE PERMADEATH IN THE NEXT PATCH. I have very clearly seen the overall dislike in the permadeath mechanic. The purpose of permadeath was to avoid having situations where a monster despawns when the player dies. Think of it as an excuse to not spend time accounting for ways you can die. Now that I've seen the obvious discontent over it, I will remove it.
Thirdly, if your game is crashing, I don't know why. I've been through my custom story repeatedly, and I can't obtain a reason. My latest attempt at fixing it involves shortening the file size. Hopefully, that can produce some meaningful results.
Finally, I just want to thank you all for your feedback. I'll get to work as soon as I can and iron out the bugs. Until the next patch...
