Reviews - Super Jump Panic mod for Half-Life 2

simple mod, but really frustrating

This mod was pretty crappy in my opinion. The terrain of the maps all looked the same & the challenges were pretty similar so you could have an idea of what you were facing before you even started the level. The movement speed was annoying. it would sometimes be useful when making long jumps but when short jumps appeared it would be annoying. The movement speed was also annoying when only trying to move backwards a little bit. Everything in the game was instant kill. The game was full of trial & error which you would eventually finish and sometimes afterwards was another little challenge which took even harder than the previous one which was very irritating. Their was a happy and sad face in the bottom left cornor that I didn't undterstand. On this desura page it says "In the 21th century John Lair builds "M.O.M", a powerful computer able to devolpe video games automatically. You are a computer hacker that gets captured by M.O.M while trying to steal John Lairs software". Well firstly, not a very important one but "21th"? it's supposed to be 21st but that's not much of a big deal. Secondly, what does jumping around on blocks & dodging missles & turrets which intantly kill you have anything to do with escaping M.O.M? Thirdly, what does M.O.M stand for???? I'll admit that I didn't play through the whole mod which could be why I dont know some of theses answers but it was just so annoying I just couldn't bear it anymore. Sorry, but I only give it a 4/10 which I think is more than it deserves.

Forget everything you know about Half Life, this is Super Jump Panic. Pure platforming and rage with a trippy color pallet, this is a speedrunners worst nightmare. You have to try it to truly understand, give it a download!

I can't give more than a five for this, but I don't think that this is bad but I think that there are a lot of more interesting HL2 mods.
