The original staging area for the Strogg conquest of Artemis, the Artemis Slipgate Complex One facility. Surrounded now by contaminated wasteland and sick alien plant life, the area has been stripped of resources and valuable life forms long ago. The facility has also been superseded by Artemis Slipgate Complex Two site, containing larger teleportation infrastructure and power generators. Strogg forces on Artemis were able to do little to reinforce the homeworld due to the remote location of the planet and intense hostility of the life forms found there, but the Stroggification process is improving on Artemis and the Complex Two may allow increased transit of supplies and reinforcements between Artemis and Stroggos.
