The Sundering: Struggle for the Old World (FORMER "STORM OF CHAOS") is a mod for Medieval 2: Kingdoms and based around the fantasy world of Game workshop's Warhammer universe during the Storm of Chaos between the Forces of Order and the Forces of Destruction, the mod's campaign opens on 2517 IC.
Alith Anar, son of Eothlir and Maieth, and last scion of House Anar, was a prince of Nagarythe who stood against Malekith before the Sundering tore Ulthuan apart. During the great war between the High Elves, led by King Caledor I of Ulthuan and the newly renamed Dark Elves, led by Malekith the Witch King, Alith Anar took up the title of Shadow King and formed the group known as the Shadow Warriors which specialized in guerilla warfare deep behind enemy lines. He was the bearer of the Moonbow, a mythical bow of terrible power that was said to have belonged to Kurnous, the Elven god of hunting. His merciless presence was enough to strike fear into the heart of even the most evil of Dark Elves.

Alith Anar and his retinue is are the best and fastest units for The High Elves.Alith Anar's retinue is made of Shadow Walkers which are the officers of the elite archers called the Shadow Warriors.
I remember in an old Sundering version that Alith Anar + retinue did so much damage. That one group easily annihilated any army that stood before them. We should definitely look out for that.
I balanced that. He comes with 26 Shadow Walkers now. Before it was 52.He's a hero unit which is very expensive too, so it's really really balanced.
