I'm testing the AI a little bit. I wrote there Moddb.com that it didn't work, and that the computer wasn't able to play the rebels.
It looks like it can. It's just starting with a delay, so the first few minutes it doesn't play. But then it's capable of producing the custom units and even upgrading the base to train the later tier squads. So it's all cool :D
Note that Shocktroopers are also equipped with a DLT-19. This is a test squad (with E-11s only)

will it have balance like blitzkrieg mod?
You mean damage-wise ?
It will be more lethal than vanilla coh, but not as punitive as blitzkrieg.
Stormtroopers in particular will benefit from their armours.
well in a way it would be role play to have vanilla damage for storm trooper... :3
However we see them getting downed in one hit in the movies ^^
I base myself on an interesting fan theory as far as damage balance are concerned. I will adress a full article about the subject once we release.
Will there be a battle on Hoth? I know some mods managed to make snow in CoH. Would love to see Snowspeeders and shield generators in this!
We'll do a Hoth map. It is possible, with the right lighting, to make sand look like snow.
Airspeeders are a planned call-in for one of the rebel command tree ;)
