Currently being developed by Starside R&D, this is a Total Conversion mod for the game Star Wars: EaW Forces of Corruption from Petroglyph Studios. You decide who has the right to survive, the Terran Federation or the Arachnids and their allies, the Skinnies. It will include space & land skirmish and Galactic Conquest and is based on various aspects taken from the movie, animated TV series, and the original book. Command your Forces in the silence of space or the roar of the battlefield, be it the Terran Federation or the Arachnid/Skinny Alliance. Use old favorites as well as brand new units developed for this conflict.

Now before anyone comments on how amateur this clip is, I must stress that for all the years I've played around learning 3d modeling, I never really messed with animation except in even simpler ways dealing with game models. Creating a complete animated scene is a new try for me and while it really doesn't further the mod, it was pretty fun.

I still dont under stand this game and how the bugs have ships? But it looks nice and great concept.
For this mods purpose think lifeforms adapting/evolving to survive. Except in the Arachnids case they can actually manipulate their genetic code and breed custom bugs for whatever purpose they need.
They bred bug ships, ships that are alive but live in space. Watch Starship Troopers Roughneck Chronicles TV series to see bugs that can travel in space. Similar idea to Moya & Talyn from the Farscape TV series, they were living starships. Tayln even had weapons.
You might also read the book, the original theme had bugs that were intellegent enough that they built their metal starships just like the Terrans.
