Currently being developed by Starside R&D, this is a Total Conversion mod for the game Star Wars: EaW Forces of Corruption from Petroglyph Studios. You decide who has the right to survive, the Terran Federation or the Arachnids and their allies, the Skinnies. It will include space & land skirmish and Galactic Conquest and is based on various aspects taken from the movie, animated TV series, and the original book. Command your Forces in the silence of space or the roar of the battlefield, be it the Terran Federation or the Arachnid/Skinny Alliance. Use old favorites as well as brand new units developed for this conflict.
Here is a completed new skin for the Alaska Heavy Cruiser. I think I made a mistake with the size as it's a 512x512 skin. The next ship I will go with a 1024x1024 to see how it works out.

216 views today alone and no comments? No looks cool, looks like crap, looks OK if you did this or didn't do that? I don't mind critiques as long as they are constructive and not insults. I might not follow all suggestions but I'd like to hear some opinions. :)
looks really good, it isnt a holy model or anything like that but it looks good, but whats up with the weird thing in between the prong things and above the middle one
Between the bow forks is another prong of the ship which houses the bridge control room. The top piece you mentioned I'm not sure which you're referring to. If it's the piece that the two solid braces and the lattice structure run to, then I can't really tell you what it is other than it is seen on the SST movie ships.
Also, this ship is loosely based on a ship seen every once in a while in the CGI TV series. Primarily the forward section is taken from that TV ship.
The old one was good enough but here i can see diffused pixels. Also if you will remade this skin others skins should be remaded, too.
The old ones were simply a generic hull texture I found online. They looked OK but I have always felt like I was taking a shortcut by using them.
The diffused pixel look is a result of several things I did in the process I think. One is the 5112x512 texture size, I also used a soften filter to blend my self-made detail, and max's default render setup, that I'm sure could be improved if I knew what to adjust.
Finally, I will be re-skinning all the models I've made to date.
Awesome, I hadn't noticed you guys had updated, looks great Rebelmoon :D.
Thanks! Of course you made the model so you might be bias. lol
I think it's good.
