the tools to mod Rebellion are already out. they are the same ones used to edit Diplomacy and Entrenchment and Vanilla. You just have to tweak them. Now the model exporters for Sins Rebellion are not out yet, so we have had to manually edit the .mesh file to add in the new lines of code that allow for the shadow shader.

You could try sending an e-mail to the dev of the original Sins 3ds Max tool (http://janvanderweg.com/SOASE/) and ask him nicely to update it. He has kindly agreed to help update the 3ds Max tool he originally made for Supreme Commander to Supreme Commander 2 after a mod group I'm part of communicated with him. You can get his contact info from the index page of his website, Janvanderweg.com .

mb a stupid question, but how did you tweek the conversion .EXE's? Because i personally don't know how to edit .EXE files.

we didnt tweak any .EXE files. we only converted the .mesh from it's binary coding to txt coding so we could manually enter the new line of code.

we did have to tweak harpos tools to work in rebellion, all i simply did was change the rebellion convert dll name to the current diplomacy one and replace the dip convert dll with the one u just renamed and poof harpos tools will work with rebellion
