Here is a screenshot of our early shield for Atlantis. There is much work to be done on it, but the good news is it is in and working for the moment.
Looks good, do we know when the Modd itself will be released roughly yet?

lol, its because befor the effect didnt cover the entire model AFAIK
I said for the moment for a good reason. The shield isnt fully functional at the moment, and we had to take it off of atlantis due to a minidump error caused by it... so we are putting it on the back burner in hopes to pick it up at a different time and know how to fix it.

It is our first attempt at the shield, obviously the textures arent going to be perfect first time around.

how big is atlantis going to be, compared to, say a cruiser shipyard or a kol class?
you should give atlantis a superpowerful shield and a hull hitpoints, because atlantis with no shields, well, in space can't support life. so the crew dies and its realistic

To be perfectly honest..you always heard in the shows of atlantis being the crown jewel of the ancients technological advancement. "The Great Cities Shield", as it was refered to as, is nothing less the most powerful defensive weapon ever created and it always annoyed me that the final episode of atlantis shows the city getting its *** kicked with 3 ZPM's and the shield at full power. The shield survived and attack by thousands of wraith ships and withstood the bombardment for years..anyway..I agree with Nzervoudis about making the shields on it "VERY" powerful. Sorry for the long post

Well the wormhole drive did suck up most of atlantis power
is atlantis going to have railguns?? in the series, when atlantis was under attack, solders came from earth through stargate and istalled them, so i was wondering if there is going to be any railguns.
