Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.

Hello dear community,

we again have to thank everyone involved in the testing of patch 2.1.1! We're getting closer and closer to a stable release of Pegasus Prelude with each patch! :)
Today we're happy to release patch 2.1.2 which includes:

Missing galactic background fixed!

- The galactic background has gone missing with the last patch...we added those again!
- We added a clarification to the text of the Wraith ambush mission that not all enemy ships needs to be destroyed
- There was a "Missing" in the headline of the objective window when the Ancients recapture Taranis
- The description of Pegasus Prelude now clearly states that you need to select Tau'ri in order to play as Ancients
- The Arthos Satellite destruction objective is now no longer an issue when you're owning Arthos already
- Added text to Gonta mission that suggests taking out the Delphi engines. Also prevented AI retreat for the first 120 seconds of the battle.

The full changelog can be found here (soon): changelog page

The Pegasus Prelude Balancing survey is still going! Please keep sharing your feedback with us. :)

We're more than happy to answer all your questions about our project! Feel free to get in touch via our forums, social media, discord or by putting more to the "Is there anything else you want to let us know? :)" section of the survey! :)

Yours,
SGMG

I was playing the prelude, I noticed that the event at Gonta forces you out even if you're willing to defend the planet.

I'd say perhaps this should be fixed, as I had decided to use Gonta as the centre point of my defensive line, and as a result, just built a very expensive weapons satellite and garrisoned it with a good part of my fleet. Forcing the player out of Gonta creates some very frustrating gameplay moments, especially if the player isn't on the back foot the way the campaign tries to portray.

Possibly make the Gonta event not just force retreat the player and destroy expensive orbital infrastructure if possible?

The reason for the forced crash of the Delphi is introduced by the series: It's the city ship that could be seen in the SGA episode "The Tower" -> It *needs* to crash down to the planet's surface :)

In order to compensate for your loss, you get free access to Wallus and his fleet and the possibility to buy a second city ship, the Pride of Troy.

But you are correct, the availability of the heavy defense satellite on this planet may not have been the best design choice... We'll look into it.
