Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.

Hey beloved community, this month is a very special one for our group. The SGMG celebrates its 5 year anniversary this month! We want to use this once more as an opportunity to thank you all. Without your feedback and compliments we wouldn't have made it this far.

Due to the fact we really appreciate your ideas and suggestions, we started some time ago to integrate you more and more into the development of our project. A nice example is the development of new civilian and military vehicles for the people of Orban. These will have their allocated space on the Orban map included with the Galactic Conquest.

Our team member Wolf announced the idea in our forums an some forum members began straightaway with a huge idea collection. Due to the fact the series didn't show any vehicles at all there were no boundaries for the ideas.

The first implementation of the civilian vehicles look like these:

Prototypes - Orban civilian vehicles Prototypes - Orban civilian vehicles Avio Usumacinta - Orban civilian vehicle

The egg-shaped model was adopted directly, naming it: „Avio Usumacinta". There is also a model with 4 tyres:

This model found a huge echo, finally received a rear spoiler and was named „Varus Sarabia" by special wish of one of our members.

Varus Sarabia - Orban civilian vehicle

Because the roads within the Orban capital (we called it Tecuan)mainly consist of elevated railways the military vehicle hadn't to be very off-road like but maneuverable. This represents the following design perfectly:

So the „Otomi-Panzer" was born. After a tyre redesign and a main weapon refit it was ready for production.

If you want to read the whole story you should visit this forum topic:

We also did a idea collection with following voting on the Aschen units. Here are the results:

Last but not least we have a new "mod for the mod" for you. As usual: Use it at your own risk^^

See you next time. Yours SGMG
