StarCraft Fusion
StarCraft Fusion is another complete (inofficial) Add-On for StarCraft: Brood War.
This mod gives 10 brandnew units to the game as well as 4 additional races - by merging the
known races together. The races undergo a "fusion".
The basic idea about this mod is the Terran Command Center which can be infested by the Zerg
Queens. This way you get the chance to train Infested Terrans in the original game.
StarCraft Fusion picks this idea up - and adds a whole new race, addicted to the
once single Infested Terrans; without replacing the original Terran race.
Each race (including the already known races) will get new units and an additional campaign
that lets you check out the new forces and makes you fight the new evil. This will finally
be made up of 4 new races, 10 new units and 7 campaigns.
The unit graphics will be taken from the www, the sources will be marked. This way,
most excellent graphics will be combined with a (hopefully) great concept, and these will
merge together to a new gameplay experience: StarCraft Fusion.
Additional Information and Troubleshooting:
The New Races can be played in the Fusion Single Player Campaigns, found in "Custom Maps -> Fusion -> Campaign". In Multiplayer, you start with standard races, but can build the new units. The Avengers are Campaign Only Units.
Brood War Patch 1.15.1 is required to play. Higher patches are not supported!
Read on to learn how to get this mod to run if it doesn't launch correctly:
- Make a Backup of your StarCraft folder on CD or Hard Drive
- Downgrade StarCraft to v.1.14 using SC3D (you can find it here)
- Then install StarCraft Fusion (it will install exactly the required patch during setup process)
or (if you just need to downgrade once again)
- manually run Brood War Patch 1.15.1 to upgrade back to the required version
Now StarCraft Fusion will launch correctly. Update manually back to the latest patch before logging in to battle.net to avoid long waiting time (as battle.net will automatically detect your StarCraft isn't up-to-date on 1.15.1). Thanks to Aple for this patch instructions (I changed them a bit, but he mainly wrote them).
StarCraft Fusion is out now.
Having promised 10 brandnew units and
even totally 7 races, StarCraft Fusion is out
now to keep it's promises.
Playable new races are the Infested
Terrans
and ancient Protoss-Zerg-Hybrids, and
even Samir Duran's experimental Hybrid
race is included.
Terran Phoenix
Strong new mid-game units like the Terran Phoenix and Protoss Stormbringer allow the players to develop new strategies and tricks in-game to suprise their enemies with new attacks.
This mod keeps some fan-fiction for you to find out what Duran's Plans could have been, right just before Blizzard will release StarCraft 2 soon and show us what they truly had in mind with the 'Hybrids'.
You can find the download links in the ModDB-Profile and on the official (German) website.

Media.moddb.com
make it to version 1.16.1 like really downgrading does not work make it up to date
Patch Error!
wow cool
Why does the avengers are on campaing only?
StarCraft is hardcoded to have 3 races in Multiplayer only.
hi
There are two mods which has successfully changed their compatibility to work with the patch 1,16,1, look at the Revolution mod and SC2 mod Wea
WHY DON'T YOU JUST UPDATE THIS MOD TO 1.16.1??!! i really want to use this epic mod but none of these down-graders work!
It's not possible. Higher patches do not support mods.
WHY? WHY? WHY? Why didn't they make it support mods?? Mods are so cool! They add more features and such things as ai improvements.. etc.
Also a quick question, is it possible to have more than 1 mod enabled? Just curious.
Yeah, that's possible if they come with seperate .exe files ;)
