Star Wars Total war is the most Creative use in a mod I have known for the rome total war engine. it departs from the mainstay of RTW vannila's melee battles in a mesh of units that dont move to ranged units that have to constantly jostle and reposition to effciently attack the enemy. each faction has a unique play style instead of greeks have phalenxes and romans have legions. to win a battle you need to think from when you start about how you deploy your units to where and when to try to rout the enemy from. you want to feel like your playing a differnt game with the rome total war engine download this mod, want a experience just vaguely dissimilar to vanillia RTW go elsewhere. simple as that.

I really can't wait to start a campaign on this mod :-)))! in this regard question: since each faction will rely on historic star wars moments there will be several themed campaigns (empire against rebels, droids vs republic) or all factions on the same map ????
The custom battle mode is the focus currently, and as for the campaign it's not certain if we will have multiple campaigns (my suggestion) based on what you describe- or simply one campaign with many factions in it.
The second alternative would mean no Republic. But the rest would all be in the campaign at once.
