A revised gameplay format. Large scaled surface and space maps to accommodate massive military movement. Totally revised unit functions for a more in depth, complicated, and realistic game. Nearly every script has been reviewed and altered to bring out the true nature of the game, and bring it to its full potential. This project is dedicated to what could have been….
Comment as you see fit. Constructive criticism is welcome but do not complain.
Yea awesome, will download when I get home. I'll also have to install empire at war, I thought it would be a bit smaller than 600+mb.
Is everything so far in the download, do we have access to ground and space.
This is a fully functional version.
is it possible to be made modfoldered?
I do believe it works that way
A little bit of critiscism, space ships are too slow, recruitment times are too slow and unit prices are a bit too high.
When I first assessed the Build Times, I considered what It may have taken to actually build a space ship. I concluded, a long time. But I will admit that they can run down your patience, and I understand your point. By the next release, I hope to have everyone's concerns addressed and resolved.
my point is I spend more time sitting and staring at my screen than doing anything but the ground combat is very fun, infantry is actually fun to use.
Also the fact that the victory is ridiculously underpowered is kinda disconcerting. I put together almost all the starting forces for the empire and attacked a small rebel fleet. The victory's lost all their shields in like 3 minutes into the battle. Then got wiped out. The acclamators were next. Against only 3 nebulon frigates and fighters and a lot of transports!
I did not do any work on the Victory or Acclimator ships, they are still at their default settings. If you acquired them, I assume you playing a different campaign than the one I intended. In Galactic Civil War, the Empire starts with I think six Star Destroyers.
have you only editted the civil war? in skirmish the empire had a lot of builds missing no access to anything other than fighters until level 3 station seriously pawnd by rebels. and i tried lines are drawn and a lot of icons are missing
just tried the civil war. a lot of things are missing, basic buidling options on most planets, land or space drop points
but the mod does look really good otherwise, bit more work :)
I focused only on the Galactic Civil War campaign so far. I have only begun to work on multilayer and skirmish properties so thank you for your input there. Some of the land maps are unfinished so there are planets with no surface yet, there will be an update for that. A list in in the features section.
If you could describe to me by what icons you mean when you say there are missing from The Lines Are Drawn.
Hey, Jawnkwan, i I finally managed to install it correctly. You made statement in "install.txt" file to "paste contents of file: BACKUP into: star wars empire at war/GameData/Data and overwrite all and paste contents of file: MAIN into: star wars empire at war/GameData/Data and overwrite all" - which is completly wrong.
I did it and it didn't work.
Then I made standard mod folder in "Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\Mods\" and put THERE those files plus shortcut (sweaw.exe" MODPATH=Mods\Full) and that WORKS.
So, no need for separate installation and OVERWRITIG files. It works well as standard mod.
But it has terrible number of missing texts (ships, planets, etc) and many planets has no land base spaces.
The fight (my 5 ISD vs Home One and Nebulon) was FUN! I was shocked to see EVERY single fighter as unit on map. Good idea. But combat was too lethal. Home One died in a seconds. Should be some minutes even when attacked by 2 ISDs and some 30 fighters.
Good Luck! It can be a VERY nice mod.
народ а игра работает?
How do you install the mod?
Also when I tried extracting the files, I was given errors
Nevermind the second comment
