Star Wars: Battlefront - Anniversary Edition (formerly known as Star Wars: Battlefront Legacy Edition) is a mod for the original Star Wars: Battlefront dedicated to upholding the franchise's legacy, from the original games, portable titles, cancelled works to DICE's reboot of the franchise.
First I want to go ahead and state that this is a pretty well done Mod for Swbf 1.
- A lot of new units, including new textures and models.
- Unique weapons inspired from Dice & EA's Battlefront.
- A great use of the cancelled Swbf 3 assets such as vehicles and player models.
- A more balanced gameplay in due to the diversity of playable classes. (except for the Dark Trooper assault cannon, wich is over-powered in my opinion)
- No annoying bug/glitch
So this mod gets an 10/10 for outstanding visuals, and 10/10 for balanced gameplay.
Feels great, the heavy's new weapon and mechanics just work in the best possible way, as does everything else. Can't wait for Phase II.

For what this mod is at the moment, it's really amazing work!
I prefer this mod over the original game, because the classes are more balanced and versatile than the stock ones and at the same time the mod makes the game look a lot better - awesome and high quality work ... especially considering it's a BF2004 mod!
