From the makers of Thrawn's Revenge: Imperial Civil War, Ascendancy is a Star Wars mod set after the Battle of Endor in the Star Wars Galaxy. Fight for galactic ascendancy as multiple factions from this period in Star Wars history.
We'd like to thank everyone for helping us get to 1200 watchers, we appreciate all the support everyone has shown in the development of the mod and hope we can live up to the expectations in 2014!
The Sovereign is one of the two "titans" available to the Imperial Remnant, the other being the Executor. We're not 100% sure which method we're going to use to divide them, but one of two things will likely happen with it. The first would be to have the player choose to build either the Sovereign or the Executor and have one at a time, the other would be to make it possible to have both at the same time. I'm personally leaning towards the former, but we've yet to make a final decision.
In battle, the Sovereign is somewhat weaker than the Executor in terms of turbolaser batteries and ion cannons, however it makes up for this with a gigantic superlaser. So while this means the Executor can be better suited for confronting large amounts of smaller ships, the Sovereign is better at seiging a planet or taking on individual threats (like another SSD). There's currently a thread for discussiing possible abilities for it at: Thrawnsrevenge.com
For those interested, we post a new screenshot pretty much every day over at our forums (that way there's always something new to look at even if it doesn't warrant its own post here), you can check it out at:

Sexy but... why did i expect to see a reaper? O.o
because we did our job.
that you did!
You could divide them between different Imperial Remnant warlords, like Zsinj and Harrsk
Woho. Great looking ship.
I dont think i get a vote but if I did I would say one at a time, otherwise it would be too hard to defeat them operating in tandem unless you had another pair,(I cant say that for a fact since I don't know how good titans will be in your mod but I'm just guessing based on my prior sins mod experience)
I thought it was called the Eclipse? or was that just the one from FOC?
The ship in FoC is another class entirely. The Eclipse-class SSD was to be Emperor Palpatine's personal flagship and would have outclassed the Executor in all respects, but he died at Endor. The Eclipse actually appears in the Shadow Hand campaign of Thrawns Revenge.
The Eclipse-class ( Starwars.wikia.com ) and the Sovereign-class (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sovereign-class_dreadnought ) are two different types of ships. The Eclipse was featured in vanilla FOC while both were present in our Thrawn's Revenge mod.
Hmm I remember the executor and the Eclipse class, but I don't remember the sovereign. I have not played it for a while and much less as the imperial remnant, so that probably doesn't help either
what's that green dot at the end?
More than likely the Superlaser emitter, the Eclipse and Sovereign classes each had a superlaser based off the Deathstars.....
Is this point in time after the Eclipse?
No, the mod covers from Endor to the Vong war. The Sovereign class existed simultaneously to the Eclipse.
Out of curiosity how did you choose one or the other?
The Eclipse is only identifiable with Palpatine, where the Sovereign was just a 'generic' ship. So it can make sense for various groups to have them.
Gotcha.
I wish you could build more then 1 executor. Depending on the amount of star systems (planets) you hold. Just like the way the TEC orbital gun works. There were more then 1 executor class sd in the sw universe. Also sins itself is just 1 or multiple solar system with alot of planets. In star wars it's actually every planet in a different solar system
You can strip the planet core with the vasari and destroy it (converts in a death asteroid). What if you make it convert in an asteroid belt and make this feature able for a big laser gun like that of the Death star or Eclipse. But the Death Star is not the era you focus on ofcourse. But just your opinion as a modder... can this feature be done or is it to hard coded to make it work if someone would try it (me for example)
