Fixes a few nasty bugs that slipped through into 0.7.
INSTALLATION
Extract the Data folder from Star Fox Event Horizon.zip. Paste it over the data folder where you previously extracted Event Horizon. Allow it to overwrite all files.
FIXES
- Fixed a bug that caused a CTD upon loading most missions (Knossos only bug).
- Fixed a bug that prevented Sector Z and Solar from loading.
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from skipping the tutorial level.
- Fixed a bug that caused a warning message to appear on the Weapon Loadout screen of several missions.
- Fixed a bug that caused some issues with controller joysticks (This may require you delete the game's appdata folder to take effect).
Having lots of fun with the mod so far but I ran into a problem with Macbeth. Apparently there is no weapons for the landmaster in the mission and in the weapon selection menu making the level unplayable and stopping me from enjoying the rest of this.
Did you restart the campaign after applying the patch?

Solar and Sector Z do load, as do the maps after. Z was loads of fun, and having played all the Star Fox games, the surprise encounter at the end was welcome and made things personal for me. I also like where the story is going. The worldbuilding and lore are very interesting. It feels authentic without directly copying the plot of past games. When it does copy something, I think it's because it couldn't have been done better anyways.
I had a profile at Solar already, so I skipped over Macbeth and any issues it may have right now. Solar has been fun, boss is a little unintuitive to damage but it's not really a problem. Had an issue where the screen would shake a ton non-stop which made things hard to see and could give someone a headache. Restarting the game made that go away though.
Random space debris and meteors and are obscenely deadly. They can take you out from full health, or at least do more damage than anything else in the game by a longshot. Feels like RNG whether or not that'll happen too. Not sure if their damage for flying into it can be tweaked in the future so idiots like me don't explode immediately.
Edit: Played Katina a few times. First off, while Jock Blaney sounds different, his voice has still grown on me and his passion comes through the performance I think. This is also one of those missions that directly benefits from the mod's style over the original. Praise aside, I feel it's too difficult to protect the transports. The first wave of bombers should at least have an objective marker on them because even when setting up my arwing specifically to take them down I can't do it fast enough unless I'm right on top of them, but they're hard to see so far away.
Was the screen shaking bug on Venom? Because that happened to me when I died after beating Andross and restarted the level.
No I had no issues like that on Venom. While I'm here, might as well mention that Sector X has an issue where the level might not progress forward if the boss is defeated too quickly. Just don't attack it while it's taunting and it should work fine.
Edit: I finally got the screen shaking when playing levels after I beat Venom. I didn't die. I just completed it normally. Resetting the game fixed it still.
Does anyone have any tips for defeating Star Wolf on Fachina? Its not a lie to say that i have been at the mission for hours with no success, mostly due to the lack of any checkpoints and having to start the whole mission again. I know its likely a hardware and/or skill issue as i really struggle to keep anything in the crosshairs mostly by over-correcting. Poor laptop is struggling. That being said i do feel like being spammed by homing missiles from just about anyone constently during the fight is a bit too much, especially when wolf or any of the other free fighters stick to you like glue and stay about 50m or so directly behind you meaning doing a u-turn just sends you past them.
Update: after some time and effort, i finally did it. I will admit i did cheese it a little and basically became a beam cannon turret for most of the fight but mission successful.
I humbly apologise if this wasnt the right place for advice/discussion
This might sound like a silly question, but are you locking on to them with homing weapons like the Charged Laser or Homing Missiles?
I was locking on to them as best i can. It would often take a few seconds to lock and i was struggling to keep them in the crosshairs for more than that, hence switching to the beams like i did in the 6.0 version. High burst damage that only needs a very short time on target. I imagine with a better set-up, laptop or otherwise, it will be much easier to accomplish.
Is there supposed to be a debriefing for the final mission or did i not escape the explosion in time?
There is no debrief for the final mission and the cutscene has not been animated yet.
Ah okay. I look forward to seeing the OG campaign fully completed 🙌
Landmaster has no weapons even with patch
According to several other people with that issue on this page, they had to restart the campaign to fix the problem.
Hello I just recently downloaded the game and I was wondering if there is a way for me to play with my Xbox series S/X controller. Already just from looking at the game as all the work you and the Voice Actors put in Im already in love with it as I've been a big starfox fan since I was kid with my N64. But besides the point keyboard and mouse is not my type of game but I'll learn it if I cant find a way to use controller. If you see and reply to this thankyou.
Hi, i heard that it's possible to run this without Freespace 2, how do i do that?
nvm, figured it out
