This mod is the current version of the original Oblivion Lost series, developed by Kanyhalos & OLP Team. The purpose of this mod is to get closer to the old Oblivion Lost which was planned by GSC back in the days, and give the best immersion possible, while implementing the best mod features: Total Freeplay, Improved A-Life, New Levels, Extended Main Storyline and Reality Enhancement. This mod works properly only with 1.0005 patch and it was tested only with that patch! You need to start a new game with no additional mods installed! Savegames from earlier mod versions are not compatible!
- OL 3.1 full mod

- New music for the non-vanilla levels (thx for Sclera)
Now I can confirm that the stuttering is tolerable if I turn off all applications in the background, even Google Chrome must be closed. Unfortunately my 4GB RAM is just enough but I don't have a full HD monitor.
So I assume that the recommended system requirement will be 6GB RAM. However I think 4GB RAM + SSD could be fine. Just make sure you have the game installed on the SSD.
However I've got bad fps in big levels like Swamp, Red Forest, etc. Around 15-20 fps. My Radeon HD 6570 1GB is about to be scrapped I guess. You'll need a stronger GPU or 2GB VRAM, I'm not sure.
Regarding CPU, it doesn't matter I guess. Any dual-core 3.0Ghz or better should be fine.
I'll upgrade my rig next week to a middle-class one:
CPU: Intel Core i3 3250, 3.5Ghz, Ivy Bridge, 2 cores, 4 threads (hyperthreading)
RAM: Kingston 8GB, 1333Mhz
VGA: Gigabyte GTX 750ti OC 2GB, GDDR5, 1059Mhz GPU speed
And since I don't play in a full HD monitor, it should handle all today's games on very high/ultra. We'll see.
Another thing that came to my mind: you need the patched exe to make the game able to use 3,8GB RAM. Even if you have got 4GB RAM and turn the background apps off, your available RAM will be approx 3GB which isn't really optimal. You know, your Windows and default apps use approx 1GB RAM without running anything special.
That's why I shall recommend 6GB RAM.
However I've got a bad news for people from the United States: I don't have a patched exe which is compatible with the US version of the game. So you will either buy the Worldwide English version of SHoC or download it from somewhere.
Really looking forward to this release!
