Squad Level Tactics is a mission for Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising that focuses primarily on the players ability to command a squad of AI soldiers through a gauntlet of hostile PLA forces in an attempt to complete a series of dynamic mission objectives. This mission offers a completely dynamic tactical gaming experience. With random weather, time of day, infantry and vehicle spawning, objective placement and the complete use of the island of Skirinka in addition to the entire island of Skira, anyone will be able to play this mission with virtually unlimited outcomes.

Back again with a new update. Added a couple of features that inject a bit more strategic maneuvering into the game. Mainly the ability to call in strikes from your mortar via satellite uplink. Along with this, the pla have gained the ability to jam your uplink if you are too close to a radar site, so keep that in mind if you rely on the uplink to gain an advantage.

Another thing that is worthy of mention and was brought to my attention by TJ Dagger and JurekCello78 from the OFDR forums is the capability of bypassing the Quazal servers and directly connecting over the internet by creating a LAN game and connecting via IP. This works brilliantly and allows us to continue enjoying this game TOGETHER without depending on Quazal to make our connections. Great find!!

- modified out of combat sight reduction to allow for more a effective stealth approach
- added combat experience rewarded for hitting pla vehicle
- fixed pla echelon path information not being properly removed from pathfinding tables after pla echelon killed while in a vehicle
- fixed location counter not reset when location taken and us troops in range of another location causing the second location to change to cleared status
- fixed general counter resetting so when intel on general locations is aquired the location change does not occur before you have a chance to kill them
- Moved free cam to options menu (numpad 9) and invulnerable cheat to debug menu (alt + f7)
- fixed error in general module in freeroam mode where the available location table would not be generated causing the code to crash
- slightly raised the chance of a sunburn missiles being spawned at active locations
- fixed ctd when patrolling vehicle required an initial pathpoint while player was in an active region with no path points
- added can call in mortar strikes from deployable mortar via satellite uplink... mortar uses uplink coordinates!
- added PLA radar sites now jam the satellite uplink within 800 meters of an active radar with a live crew
- added can call in airstrikes via satellite uplink without equipping your binoculars
- fixed typos in camera selection code causing an extra variable to be created
- added check for support helicopters to check for presence of other support vehicles in spawn area so they don't get tied up
- modified ai vision at night to make for a more fulfilling stealth experience... also affects your ai vision.
