From the Middle eastern deserts to the Balkan mountains, the action continues.3 years after the events in CoD4, Al Asad is back and he is not alone. He has gathered all of his forces and has managed to prove to the islam world that he is a holy person ( those who dont believe him get shot ). Now his armies are moving forward in an almost blitzkrieg tactic, conquering much of eastern Europe. Within 3 months he is at the Russian border and is preparing the invasion. Kremil decides to send a special Spetsnaz team to Rousse ( where Asad is expecting his troops ). Your job is to parachute into the city and kill Al Asad once and for all. Too bad all hell broke lose after you landed, the Bulgarians are rebeling in the city, the romanians are rushing to reinforce, and a massive arab army is coming to help the city garrison. Not to mention your squad leader was killed in the landing, your helicopters are destroyed and you have no contact with HQ. Just another day at the office aye?
The turks are not screwing around, they are pulling in all the stops ( and helicopters ). Enemy commandos beeing dropped at various strategic positions, can our three bulgarian heroes stop them before it is too late.
And BTW this is only the first wave of choppers ( technically the seccond, but the first is infantry and armor only ), then well have another one of these with more choppers and armor, and then the final wave where JIHAD infantry and armor join the party. Its going to be a loong day at the Shpka peak.
How many friendly troops will you have to help you defend the mountain? Will there be real soldiers or just the 3 of you like in some Rambo style game?
And shouldn't there be snow and ice on the mountain?
Officially its you and 2 permanent allies ( Machine Gunner and MSG-er ), there is a BMP ( with troops inside ) that provides help, and also there are is a sniper team that provides support at various points. Plus the main bulgarian division which is split into two - one at checkpoint Alpha and Bravo ( check preview for more details ). Still the main idea is to hold the top untill the main forces arrive ( with the tanks and planes ).
BTw why would there be snow on the mountain in the summer?
Ok,that sounds fun. But when the reinforcements comes does the mission end there or do you also need to help them push the Turks back?
And will there be attack helicopters at some points or just the transport helis?
And for the snow part:
1.) maby the mountain is so high that there is snow at all times during the year.
2.) it's cool. (:
Of course it doesnt, this is a pretty long level, and it will be pretty bad if i dont give the player the privelage of finishing off the remaining enemies. The combat chopper is a possibility but not certain ( it involves a lot of work and doesnt have much of a significant role, so its less likely to appear ).
BTW the mountain there isnt snow on the top during the summer ( I know, ive been there during the summer :)
you should retexture the blackhawks so that they show whose side their on
Well they wouldnt really be called BLACKhawks if they werent black:)
ah haha yeah you are right xD
no like put something on it which symbolises its country
oh boy, this should be interesting
Perfect! All that they need now is the "Ride of the Valkirye" as "psicological weapon" ;-)
