General Teddy Roosevelt image - Solar Worlds at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own... ulla ulla ulla ulla... Solar Worlds at War is a mod that takes inspiration from the War of The World Mythos and aims to build off it. It also takes inspiration from Edisons Conquest of Mars, the 1950s WOTW movie, WOTW Goliath, and various other SciFi stories from the early 20th century. Humanity has survived, the Martian Invasion force has failed and died off due to bacteria, and technology has rapidly advanced due to the Martian Technology being reverse engineered. But as time has passed since the original invasion, a new dark force grows as the Martians plan a second invasion, meanwhile Earth builds its own war machines and space force, and the Great Martian Wars are about to begin!
Teddy Roosevelt was an experience combat and calvery veteran of the US armed forces. He fought in many battles and commanded the Rough Riders. During the Spanish American war while fighting in Cuba, the First Martian Invasion happened, and Teddy and his Riders were forced to fight for survival and to try and defeat the Martians they encountered. After the first invasion, Teddy ended up becoming the next US President and agreed to join the Earth Alliance in defense against the Martians. For this he authorized funding to be given to Tesla/Edison to help reverse engineer the Martian tech to help in the fight against the Martians. With the Martian Threat looming again, Teddy is also ready to fight on the front lines to stop the Martian menace!
In the mod Theodore Roosevelt will be a playable hero for the Earth Alliance faction, and will have 2 variants of him playable, with 1 using a regular rifle while the 2nd stronger variant uses a portable light heatray. He will also spawn with a squadron of Rough Riders when deployed into battle.
