-------------------------------------- Socialist Tension is a Single player Half-Life 2 mod, where you are in the role of a Contract killer, who was sent to City 17 for his next assignment. His client, one of the citizens of City 17 wants you to assassinate Dr. Breen and put an end to his domination. But he doesn't know that the "death" of Dr. Breen will lead to tragic consequences and thus your only hope is to get out of City 17 as soon as fast. Good luck. -------------------------------------- The mod only adds some new maps, there aren't any weapon/NPC changes.

Description

This patch fixes most issues related to engine branch incompatibility and is designed to run using the latest "Beta" of Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer. Instructions on how to install and use it are within the archive.

@1800DABOMB

Make sure you are using the 'Upcoming' beta of the Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer.

- Right-click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer.
- Go to the "Betas" tab.
- Change "Select the beta you would opt into" option to "incoming"
- Restart Steam.

You should also verify the integrity of your game's files. This might be the cause of your crashes, as you have invalid/corrupt game files.

- Right-click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer.
- Go to the "Local Files" tab.
- Click "Verify Integrity of Tool cache..."
- Wait until game cache inspection is completed.
