“What would happen if we applied Earth 2150 to Homeworld?” -- Slipstream: The Price of Freedom is just that. Or, at least, was supposed to be just that. What started as a multiplayer combat simulator, ended as the first entry into the Slipstream universe.

Slipstream: The Price of Freedom v2.0 was included in the December 2008 edition of PC Games Extended Issue (Germany). It was listed inside the magazine on page 24 in both the Standard and Extended Issues, but was only included on the Extended DVD Edition. It contains the v2.0 readme, v2.0 compiled specifically for PC Games (included the AI fix #1, so visitors who used this edition should download #2 or get 2.1).
