The gold armor really stands out in #1.
Detail is better in #2.
Combine them definitely.
No 1 is really nice.

Well, I originally wanted to make it younger .... but there is already a model at the head of the curve so that the old man's face only turns =) But I still try to do something.

And so, in a landslide win number 1 ... but I decided to go the other way. Since there were those who wanted the second option, they just get it. I'll do a random texture =) Ie arik will randomly appear remarks that in the first, the second armor =)
Part 2 looks great but add the white stripes under the the L/R shoulders from part 1. Looks nice from up close but in game we only see these characters from the distance.
Contrasting colours in number 1 make it look more heroic, with the pastels used in number 2 making it look more bland and less exciting.
From a design perspective.
And it seems to be the contrast that everyone wants with the deception of greater detail in the model, from the contrast.
The pastels/washed seems to distract from the violent and confrontational purposes to the gaming. :)
If we were playing Sims, #2 would be good. :P
But we are here to mash stuff up... So #1 fits into the gonna kill everything category, :P
They are actually both good representations. :)
