Sirius is essentially a retelling of the Crysis story. Features include all completely new levels, extremely deadly enemy AI, scripted music from the game, and voice acting work coming. This mod aims to be a AAA experience using the original Crysis game assets, modified storyline and integrating the CryzenX shaders for updated graphical and lighting fidelity. Stay tuned for more!
This is an update to the Sirius_Infiltration level for the Sirius mod. This update targets performance issues seen in the first release.
After several play-throughs I began to notice frame drops, I attributed this to my PC, but when I watched a video another player made about my mod I realized it wasn't just my machine. I made some changes to the landscape and eliminated some long draw-distances in areas that was affecting the fps the most. The play area is more closed in than it was originally, and though it would be nice to have those long view distances all over the level, Cryengine2 can only handle so much. Expect a fps increase of 5-10 fps in most areas.
