Republic capital ship variety Thread - Sins of a Galactic Empire mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion

To get straight to the point i think the Republic desperately need some more variety in the capital class. There are only 4 actual ships in the class when there could very well be 6.

Firstly, the Jedi Venetor. The Venetor in itself is about the most vanilla ship in the entire star wars universe next to the Imperial star destroyer. Whenever you see or hear "Republic" you think of the venetor, which is not really a bad thing but we already have one and it already serves as the mainstay of the Republic navy. Since the Jedi version serves mainly as a Carrier support ship i would suggest replacing it with the Valiant Class fleet carrier. light armament with large hangers would be a nice fit for the role.

Secondly is the Victory II Command. To be frank this is just not needed. It is practically identical in every way to the V-I and only serves as a CAC vessel. My best suggestion would be to replace it with the Legacy class. The Legacy served as a CAC vessel and could double as a fire support Capital as it has quite the armament for long range engagement with very little in the way of fighter squadrons. With an increase in cost it would fill the role perfectly.

I hope the creators know that this mod is great and has amazing potential and that these criticisms are purely in the best interest of the mod as at the moment it is the only SoSE mod to feature either the Republic or CIS. I hope this suggestion takes some interest as it would only make me want to play this mod more. Thank you for taking the time to read this as well!
