Welcome to the addons pack for Sins of a Galactic Empire. This archive contains the following addons:
200% Health Boost: Doubles the health and passive regeneration of all ships.
Backdrop: Changes the backdrop to a different one; this was the default backdrop in R1099 and earlier.
Cruel AI / Vicious AI: These two addons increase the AI's difficulty; Vicious is tougher than Cruel; you may only activate one of these two addons.
Hyperspace Anywhere: This allows a player to jump from any one planet to another, assuming it can be seen at all, and this works on both random and premade maps.
Hyperspace Interdiction Modification: This makes gravity well generators slow up the hyperspace charge-up of ships rather than prevent them from entering hyperspace.
Reduced Weapon Ranges / Extremely Reduced Weapon Ranges: This reduces the range of all weapons by 50% and 67.5%, respectfully; you may only activate one of these two addons.
Imperial VSD-I: This gives the Empire access to the Victory Star Destroyer I.
Invulnerable Supercap Factories: This makes all Supercap Factories indestructible.
In order to use these, extract the contents of this archive to your Sins mod directory. and then edit EnabledMods.txt and place the addons above all activated factions. To give an example:

can some one help me i done everything right but the hyperspace anywhere does not seem to work but the others do help!.

Hyperspace Anywhere doesn't reveal planets; they have to show up on your map before you can jump to them. Note I say show up on the map, not that you have to discover them. The addon's working fine on my end, make sure it's over CORE. If it isn't, the addon will not work.

Nice that addonds are now compatible with the main mod. Although, I had to recalibrate my brains, as now the backdrop addon is indeed the old "vanilla" one X'D.
Well, the vanilla skybox was added into the main mod. Some people liked the busier skybox, so I made that into an addon. For those who downloaded the backdrop addon for R1099, such as yourself, this might be a bit confusing. :v
humm why is making the VSD 1 usable an addon ? shouldnt this be in there in the first place for Imperials ?
No, as it wasn't in full Imperial service at the time. It's also to distinguish the Republic from the Empire; by your same logic the Republic should get the ISD-I.

My internet is so slow I'd prefer to make sure before downloading this, does the "hyperspace anywhere" mean that ships can jump from anywhere within a gravity well, or that ships can jump from the edge of any gravity well to any other revealed gravity well? If it is the latter, would it be possible to get an addon which allows the ships to jump from far closer to the centre of the gravity well? Not quite from the planet surface, but you know what I mean.
It means the latter. For the former? Could be done I think, though I'm personally not going to look into it, due to a lack of time.
For some reason I installed this mod as instructed, but the VSD-1 for the Imp's wont show up in the construction yards. And it is activated correctly in the enabled mods file.
I forgot about moving above of the CORE line, but now my game dumps every time I open Sins with SOGE enabled. Any ideas what is going on and how to fix it?
Sounds like you have a corrupted download somewhere; on my end the VSD-I addon is working without issue.
What does vicious a.i. do? Does it make it smarter,or just give them more money? Does it work only for the star wars mod,or does it enhance the vanilla games a.i. as well?

Sorry for missing this earlier; this addon gives the AI a number of extra bonuses, an enhanced version of what is already present in SoGE. Unfortunately as it is research based, and thus uses a custom SoGE entity, it will not work with vanilla Sins. However it can be modified to work with vanilla Sins with little work, however it's effectiveness with vanilla Sins is unknown.
Can you please post the download as a torrent file. The download speeds on the available mirrors are terrible.
The hyperspace anywhere. Is that purely for within a gravity well, or does that include every planet in the map?
I have no clue either... I wanna be able to bypass as many planets as I can so I can wipe the enemy out with ease :D
Are you supposed to research Oversector Juristiction for the old republic for example if you want to hyperspace anywhere? I began researching it and my game quit itself probably b/c of my tampering with "hyperspace anywhere" b/c I couldn't get it to work? Help is Needed!
Hello i have a problem, whenever i try to play this mod i can only use the Empire, i have done everything the readme has said however i still only allows me to put the empire in the game can you please tell me how to fix this

This mod is really great! I just have one question. I am playing as the Republic, I have the research required to make a Praetor-class supercapital ship. I have the station to build it at my homeworld, and yet i still cant build it. It says i dont have the research necessary, but i do. How do I build it?
