Native gameplay, within the Calradia setting, with a strong emphasis for improving convenience, gameplay and adding new options (such as quests) to the overall M&B: Warband experience. Any version of M&B warband from 1.153 to 1.158 will work, but the mod requires the use of the Warband Script Enhancer v3.1.5 which is included in the download.

Silverstag is a native expansion/overhaul that delivers new key features, polish, graphics, and content, all while staying to true to the native feel of Warband.

Silverstag adds many new features but some of the most impressive ones are enhanced tournaments, sprinting (for player and AI), kingdom/fief management, and most importantly abilities and troop recruitment.

Even little things like combat hampering (soldiers fight worse when injured) dismounting damage, and spear bracing add a whole new layer of depth and attention to detail.

Player abilities, are essentially perks that add passive bonuses to players and troops. These perks can be chosen every 5 levels, and add another RPG element to Warband.

The recruitment system is a radical change from native and most other mods and has huge potential; it is slightly incomplete as of now, but the direction that the team is going in is very promising.
END 2014 UPDATE: Nearly every faction has an overhauled troop tree that takes advantage of the new recruitment system now.

There really are too many features to explain here. If you have not tried Silverstag, you are truly missing out. There aren't many mods our there that add this much depth and gameplay refinement.

I highly recommend this mod. Be careful though-- once you try it, you might never want to go back to native or any other mod out there.

Simply the ideas involved here compared to most other Warband mods are revolutioanry - clearly lots of work had gone into this.
With economic micro-managing and the introduction of unique stats and units (NOT minor factions!), this game really outdoes most other mods.

Your view on the garrison recruitment and usage of companions for actual roles, excellent work so far.

I've been playing this mod for 100 (ingame) days, and all I can say is that so far, I love it.

All the convenience options such as Companion Roles and Autoloot are incredible, I don't know if I will ever be able to play without them now. Also, it makes perfect sense for a role play perspective: do you really think a lord leading an army of several hundreds men should personally take care of picking and selling loot, capturing prisonners, making sure the food stocks are safe, or babysitting companions into picking the right gear? I say no, he has subordinates who can take care of that, following his own general recommendations. Really helps make the gameplay smoother, and focus less on tedious micromanagement.

I find the Special Abilities system for yourself and your companions to be really well thought out and balanced. Now your characters have an even more specialized role. My knight turned into an even more inspiring figure, charging first into battle and rallying my troops around me!

Tournament is really great now, you get to actually have fun, by customizing it to your personal preferences.

As for the tactics system, or the automanagement system, I have to admit I haven't used them enough by now to make an accurate judgment, but they seem well made and are very welcome for more advanced players!

All in all, 10/10, I love it!

I have no words for this mods... its just so good it adds a lot of new stuff its like new game...creators of this mod should make mod like this for bannerlord but even better... i dont understand why some people say floris is better... this mod is like the best mod out till now... i love creators that made this mod thank you! <3 <3
