The First Age of the Sun and Moon is perhaps the most eventful timeline within the works of JRR Tolkien. It is steeped in theological and philosophical themes, while retaining the epic scale that most are accustomed to when they think of Tolkien. Our hope is to recreate, as accurately as possible, the words and ideas of the author into the Total War universe. As there is yet to be any concrete display of what we believe to be the greatest and most thought-provoking age within the world of Arda, here is to you Silmarillion: Total War.

Description

Another look at the Laiquendi of Ossiriand! Scouts and Sentries of Gelion are the Green Elves' first line of defense against the hosts of Morgoth. Scouts are swift of foot and armed with two elven daggers, trading base damage for a large pool of melee defense as well as the armor piercing trait in close quarters. In addition, Green Elf bowmen come with an additional two volleys of ammunition for a total of 16.

Sentries of Gelion are a swift moving patrol of mounted archers who are well suited for skirmish warfare. They are numerous, swift, well provisioned with poison arrows, and armed with an elven sabre for close quarters. In addition, Laiquendi cavalry do not suffer penalties when fighting in the forest. As with all Green Elven units, the Sentries are lightly armored and thus very vulnerable to enemy missiles. If left in range of enemy skirmishers the Sentries will swiftly wither under the pressure.

Models made with Mirkwood Rangers from DaC, as well as Arthalion's elven assets.
