The 2022 "Fortis Bellator" (Brave Warrior) Fan Edition presents Rus TW, already known to the mod community, in the format of a separate BI folder. That is, conditionally, the mod does not require a complete reinstallation of the game and can be compatible with projects for Rome1 and Alexander (but not for BI). By the way, the original games can also be safely turned on, the same Alex or Rome1.
The original installation of Rus TW was difficult. Updates, patches, fixes and other things, including addons and submods. To be honest, it's painful. And so, after consulting with my good friend VIR, we decided to simplify the task even more. Of course, quite a few builds of Rus have already been released, but in each of them it was necessary, as they say, to replace the entire game at once. But here - everything is easier. Simply move the original BI folder to another location, and paste the BI folder from the Edition archive instead.
The music package can now be installed separately and any, both from VIR`a with Slavic songs, and my Last Muzic-Pack with cool tracks. To do this, you need to delete music.dat and music.idx in the data / sounds folder. Delete or move to another location. But keep in mind that music packs in this case will work not only with Rus TW, but also with other mods, and with the original.
This version is already served with the existing English language, it lies in the mod's archive not far from the BI folder. If someone is a foreign member of the community, he can safely play in English. This version have english support, and eng-translation you can find in the archive of edition.

Hello I am happy that I found this great mod for total war Rome. The English translation causes a crash to desktop (for me at least) when loading after selecting a faction at start. I went through every text document from the archive of the eng translation and the document text "expanded_bi" is causing the CTD.

Yes playing without the "expanded_bi" text document let me play a faction I went like 20 turns and it worked fine.

I have a question about installation: Reading instructions carefully, i understand i have to "move" (that's copy and paste) the original BI folder (that's the original game BI folder) into another location (unspecified).
That means my original game will be changed and all mods i have installed into BI folder will stop working.
However, the installation instructions say my original game will not be modified and i don't need a new installation.
So, that's very confusing, since i need another installation of the game and the original game will be modified (my original BI folder will be moved (to wherever it is that unspecified new location)).
So i ended up installing another version of the game. Which is the same i do for the original Rus TW. Since the purpose of this mod is to simplify the installation, and the installation hasn't been simplified, what's the purpose of this mod?

I am not the mod maker. It has always been common for RTW players to have multiple instillations for their various mods. Personally I have like 8 RTW folders with various mods and one vanilla backup folder to copy and install a new mod onto, when installing this mod I made a copy of the original folder and just deleted the bi folder. You do not have to delete it and if you wanted to keep that original bi folder you would as mentioned move it to a safe space. After that I just placed the rusTW Bellator in and that was it (eng translation had problem for me though as stated in another comment).
