Once Zaros, the empty lord, ruled over most of Gielinor. Zaros was feared by all but even he could not hold on to his power forever as he was betrayed by his most powerful general, a mahjarrat called Zamorak. This brought an end to Zaros rule. It's the third age on Gielinor now... a time of total war! More info: This modification for Alexander RTW will aim to have most of the races of Gielinor known to have participated in the wars. Also I will first focus on making units and custom settlements before I try and make a campaign. Playable factions are: Zarosian Empire, Saradominist Kingdoms, Zamorakians, Guthixians, Tirannwn, Fremennik Tribes, Followers of Armadyl, Hordes of Bandos, Desert Empire.

Saradominist Kingdoms Unit Preview

Saradominist Kingdoms symbol

This is the first faction unit preview. These previews will not contain the spellcasters though as I will probably add them much later when I have learned how to make animations. The units shown in this article will be playable for the alpha (with maybe an exception for the lions because they do seem to make the game crash quite a lot).

The armies of Saradomin are composed of 4 races: The Icyene, Humans, Centaurs and Dwarves. Saradomin's army finds its strenght in a fast selection of both infantry and cavalry. At the end of the article there is a video with how all the units look in game. It also includes the heroes that are available for the alpha.

Unit Selection Saradominists

Infantry:

Saradominist Spearmen

Loving the looks of this faction, and I've watched all three videos now.

This faction had the best looking units i think.

The old graphics have a certain charm.

There's both very good (alpha release) and some bad news. I'll do an announcement in one of the coming days. It won't take that long for the alpha to be released :)
