This mod is based on the series Roughnecks:Starship Trooper Chronicles or in the UK and around Starship Troopers: Bug wars. Many kinds of bugs have been coded and also some trooper AIs. Currently only a few test maps are available and many weapons included such as the Nuke launcher, grenades and the all time favorite the morita rifle with rocket attachment. Unfortunately due to conflicting interests, the mod has gone inactive.
Standalone released. Currently only downloadable from Fileplanet.

I know this is old news but I wanted to make sure to get everyone up to date on the status of the mod.
Sadly this mod has been inactive for a while and no progress has been done. Me and my modeler/mapper have long parted ways. He's gone to work on other projects hopefully one he can finish. I was reminded of this mod while thinking of ideas for a possible project and figured I'd look around for it.
This mod may well be revived and improved for the Source engine (HL2).
I'll look into it, if anyone can do Source engine modelling just email me and we'll talk.

I recently found this mod on TrooperPX.com and I was able to find a copy of v0.50 to try out from FilePlanet. It is a fun mod and I'm sure there are others on the Starship Troopers Terran Command community who would be interested in trying it.
Do you still have the files for v0.51/0.6 or the standalone?

cant you make it playable without having to have quake 2? i sold my copy at a garage sale a while ago, lol
i played the alpha or something because all i got to do was be thrown into a small room with about 200 of those spider things,
1st time i played it scared the crap out of me, wacked my kneew so hard aginst the desk i had bruises for weeks ;)
Maybe cut down on the grass blade count and add a texture to the blades of grass...looks really sweet though.
