Considering the development time, should this mod be released in parts or as a complete game?

If I should release the mod chapter by chapter, or cut into parts that include several chapters, next question would probably be should I implement a chapter or "episode" selection option to the start menu.
Finish it then release, early access is awful and definitely doesn't need to be a thing for mods.
Definitely a valid point. The only reason, as the dev, to release this thing in segments would be to get the feedback for the progress so far, iron out the bugs and ensure fun gameplay. It is a lot more work to patch out an entire game only after the full release, and to ensure any patches released later would properly install, it might need an executable to do the job, which I personally frown upon.
Then again, I can always try to get more playtesters to help out with the same issues, but for that, I definitely need people to know about the project. Hence the demo release.
