Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

sorry, i bet this was said somewhere, but i couldn't find an answer. does this work with the C&C the first decade instead of the generals/zero hr packs? or do i have to go and but the individual games?

ps, in case this helps, the mod installs fine, but when i try to start and y of the files ie: rise of the reds quickstart, a black command prompt-like box comes up which says something to the effect of c&c generals rise of the reds startup. but then i get an error message, and the box closes. when i am not in the admin. account, the box just flashes on screen to fast to read.
i have tfd but the game works fine for me i get the same prompt box but i have only tried running rotr normally without quickstart etc
you mean how to defeat an army of tanks?
well ussualy advanced atrillery pieces(espacially the nuke cannon)
can decimate almost the entire force
and for more cost effective aim your artillery at the AA units
use a "shield" of heavy tanks and use heli's to kill everything left behind

why should I use missles anymore...why not just shooting unguided shells ? Using missles makes only sense if I want to hit a moving target or using them as very long range weapons...
No thats an alternate mode for the Tomahawks. You can use the normal mode to home in on units and use "Cruise mode" to attack from even longer range but with the lack of homing. This makes the Tomahawk an excellent siege weapon.

i think i'll be General Thorn... i like the US play style and Spec Ops rangers will be super rangers awesome, Blackhawk is sweet... plus u get Navy SEALs!!! this mod is awesome!!
