Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

It is so sad to see so HD models looking out of place next to the low-detailed textures and roads. Still nice though!
I'd make a comment about the need for an HD texture pack but I'm neither capable of doing it, nor sure if it's even possible.
Its possible but it well take A LOT of more time so it would be waaste.
or they could ask untitled for there roads texture or do some work for them.or ask VectorIV for the water texture and Enhanced Graphical Contents 0.8.3 and work that in if its how they want this game to be or do some work for VectorIV.
2 things, 1. SWR NEVER cared for realism so i guess that explains itself.. 2. some people with low end PC would lag and everyone want to play this awesome mod so yeah.

How to fight a Russian armored platoon. You don't do it up front and "fair. You cheat and just go around them, occupy what they left and catch 'em in a pincer.
Well i would choose the US and i would use artirelly and aircrafts too defeat them and lots of pincers manouvers.
Good luck using aircraft... your plan will crash with a grumble! With an S-300 one, to be more precise :D

As US you can always make platoons of tomahawks and use Bombardment strategy to increases their ROF and DMG. Its the best against brutal Russian Seltinels they cant run with their turtle speed.

For some reason, I have a sudden urge to reenact the battle of Kursk. Or at least Prokhorovka.
And yes, you typically have to make the reference for someone to get it. Though, I'm not really sure if outright writing out the lyrics counts for that.

Incidentally, the new Sentinel description does mention that the Russo-European War had its own version of Prokhorovka outside the Belgian city of Liege, where a joint contingent of German, British and French forces crashed against an outnumbered Russian unit that had access to the latest Sentinel model.

I was wondering if we might see a mission where we have to defend Moscow during a GLA terrorist attack (Red Alert 3 disappointed me a bit as it didn't give us a chance to defend the heart of the nation against forign invaders - Moscow had been taken many times in past C&C games, but never defended) :)
