Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Iiiiiinteresting. So, does this make blackout nodes and sensor towers history, or do you get both?
Also, the other modes do not provide the map, I take it?

Looks like BN are still availible (this general power probably unlocks BN mode for the Radar Tower and allows you to instantly build a BN anywhere on the explored terrain as it was before).

no..I think the Black Out Node is built on this Radar tower, Like an General Point acquired Addon, makes it more reasonable to build it in a base then deploy it anywhere.

Can I switch between these four modes, or clicking the button will upgrade the structure permanently?

Finally, building radar for Russian now more useful than simply provide radar and debris bunker with 2 Cons. after destruction. We, Russians, love versatile things!

You have changed your avatar to Valkyre, don't you?

Have these buildings scaled down in size? I remember seeing one stealth radar tower getting detected in an earlier stream by a Msta accidentally hitting it while firing upwards.

Also, since the radar tower now has air targeting system upgrade, does this mean the component tower no longer has the same upgrade?

Will it change its appearance when switching between different modes, like the USA Strategic Centre?

Neato. Radar tower of Russia looks awesome, more so than the previous, and more so than General Ironside's Radar Dome in ShockWave.

Although I feel quite sorry for the Blackout Nodes of old, but I think the Blackout Radar Tower is quite tougher than the original Node, is it?

Description

With large parts of Russia's elaborate anti-air radar network crippled after years of extensive fighting, the Federation is now using smaller Radar Towers in order to maintain full coverage and protect its population from airborne attacks. The Radar Tower can operate in four different modes: The Active Radar mode is initiated by default and grants access to the radar map. The Passive Radar mode reduces signal emissions to a minimum which allows the Outpost to render itself untraceable while detecting hidden enemies in the vicinity. The Air Raid mode optimises the system for aircraft tracking and allows nearby AA to defeat airborne threats more efficiently. Finally, Russian commanders with the necessary clearance to order electronic warfare operations can activate the so-called Blackout mode to scramble enemy communications and sensor readings.
