Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

lol it looks like a Marvin the Martian ray gun type thing.

Tesla designed these things in the 1880s to observe properties of electricity. Never intended for war or anything of the sort =P.

but in real life, electricity is not an effective weapon.
it can't be directed
it can't penetrate material
and it it most certainly not make a tank burn.
but it can make make a guy do a funny dance... before he dies.

Even if the required power to use this weapon is ridiculous (even more than the Laser Patriot once used), it is indeed a very useful defense, the range is more than enough and frying 3 soldiers at once or a big amount of a vehicle is very helpful.

I already have RoTR 1.2. But I'm disappointed with this coil. Its textures and details makes the weak compy running slowly. I think you should remove some detail from this component tower's upgrade.

And btw, some problem discovered...
The tesla coil's charging sound is still heard, even in the low power condition...
You should fix it...

It caused a slowdown on old computers, hence your first issue.
As for your second problem, that has been reported internally and is waiting for a fix.

Description

Infantry, Light Vehicles or Tanks - it doesn't matter because the Tesla-Coil is capable of reducing all enemy Ground Units to ashes within Seconds. It fires Electric Charges with over 10.000 Jigga Watts ( Don't ask me how much that is, let me just tell you it's alot! ). Tesla-Coils have a great Range and every enemy Ground Unit should avoid them at all costs.
