Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
After the Global Liberation Army had gotten its hands on a sizeable number of Gazelle helicopters left behind by the weak Central African militaries, the organisation was quick to develop several highly effective tactics hit-and-run around them. Limited solely by the bounds of their own resourcefulness and creativity, the crafty mechanics and pilots also tested a variety of different weapon configurations on these fast, lightly armoured helicopters, the latest of which was the installation of agricultural pesticide sprayers. Any Gazelle that has been outfitted with this peculiar modification is able to unleash a deadly downpour of toxins that turns an entire strip of land into a no-go zone for unprotected infantry for a prolonged period of time.
Um guys can you remove the airfield restriction in the future? At lest for a specified general? Two fighters are too few to use in any role.
I don't think that would be intelligent. In fact it would destroy the whole purpose of the GLA air forces.
In fact GLA don't even have classic air force. Never had, never going to have.
Their aircraft are powerful enough, because...
1.) you can always spam Gazelles. Fast, agile and completely deadly to most land targets.
2.) Fighter don't need to reload.

Never understood the no reload part. Anyway, it was just a thought, would prefer if it the limit was two or three.
PS: If the developers don't mind, can anyone tell me how to remove the limit manually? I would only use that for playing skirmish (Can't play in online anyway, my internet speed is only 256 KPBS).

First! You must have a FinalBIG 0.4.0
Second. Copy the : [!BetaRotr_INI.gib] (for backup)
Third change the [!BetaRotr_INI.gib] (In your Main ZH Folder) to [!BetaRotr_INI.big]
Open the BetaRotrIni with the Final Big.

You Will see many Data\INI\.....
Search for Data\INI\Object\GLA\Buildings\Airstrip.ini then click it
Search something that say : MaxSimultaneousOfType = 1 THEN CLICK AND DELETE IT USING BACKSACE (It will activate "Edit Mode")
One More! The Interceptor
Search again for Data\INI\Object\GLA\Aircraft\Interceptor.ini
Again Click it and search for (MaxSimultaneousOfType = 2 ; since you can only ever have one airstrip you should never be able to build more than 2 of these) Click and delete it with Backspace. Then save. Then click Repair_ROTR.exe in your Main ZH Folder.
Probably won't do it to make sure GLA aircraft remain as support units and not become main assault units. I like the idea though.
Nope, and while the Gazelles are perfectly fine for GLA, we're trying to find a way to make the interceptors more useful. We'd like to keep its built limit, but try to improve in some way.
you could improve the power of its guns and rockets and give it the option to equip a 500 pound bomb or 2 AA missiles to give a little more hitting power. the main difficulty is keeping the interceptor weaker then all other jets but allowing it to still be worth getting.
just search up mig-21 if you need some ideas.

ShW GLA heli was just a GLA-fied version of classic game Russian helis. Gazelle on the other hand is just like the GLA itself. It's agile, nimble, mobile, good for hit and run. And now it can be armed with unique GLA weapons. :)
The Mi-18 for the scrap general is a real life unit, there was nothing "GLA-fied" about it. Even the rocket pod upgrade exits in real life.
By GLA-fied I meant they changed the looks a bit and added GLA colour scheme.
Not forgetting, good for hunting tanks when upgraded via tiers. If there is no max limit for Gazelle, I would love to spam the entire screen with that.

Name two mods. I have been watching the ZH community for nearly as long as the game has been released. And I can't think of any, ROTR excluded, that have a similar weapon system.

Interesting but I suspect mostly useless in game terms. AA, including missile infantry will outrange the area of toxin, making the toxin ability only useful against infantry without AA support. That being true, any attack helicopter with a machine gun would do the job just as well (and get promoted from killing enemies) while being more useful against other types of target.
