Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
The Bloodhound is the newest modernisation of the venerable Westland Lynx, a multi-purpose helicopter of British design that serves in a variety of different roles in many European militaries, including the armed forces of Portugal, Denmark and Norway. The European Continental Army makes prominent use of it as a forward air controller and artillery observer. Its advanced sensor suite allows the Bloodhound to track down concealed enemies and its precision target designator allows friendly units to bring the full weight of their firepower to bear on anyone unfortunate enough to be marked by the beam. In addition, most Bloodhounds operate in constant coordination with the nearest European artillery detachment, allowing them to place a target marker on a structure which can then be bombarded by all available howitzers for a short period of time. Despite not having any weaponry of its own, a lone Bloodhound snooping around the base perimeter should never be dismissed as a non-threat, for its appearance may very well be the only warning prior to a devastating rain of shells.
I expect this to be the fastest helicopter in the game.

This http://raider.sikorsky.com/ui/images/raider-overview_03.png is a fast helicopter. That flying can seems more like a brittyfied version of an early Blackhawk.
What are you babbling about? This is a Westland Lynx, one of the fastest helicopters in the world.

Whoa, fella, easy! Developers - the tension around the release is so high that we are defending a helicopter's honor here! :) Don't leave us get serious with CapsLock! About that flyer - I'm not saying it's bad. Imma just sayin' it looks like a... well... a can. In the good way! ;)
Huh?
Oh, please, that thing doesn't even exist. And quite frankly...the **** is strong in this post.

Alright then! Following the public oppression, I withdraw my can-based comment and declare to love all that is brit-designed henceforth! But know that the pope will hear of this suppression of yours! I would've started feeling uncomfortable from now, if I were you! :P
Shut up, your tea's getting cold.

Existing or not (which is questionable http://image01.seesaawiki.jp/h/n/harmony-gold_japan/19f09d5025f62faa.jpg http://revdisk.net/inet/X2Raider.jpg), you gotta admit that Sikorsky s-97 would've looked real well in the hands of, say, Alexandr, replacing his Kamov-52. Tesla tanks don't exist as well, my friend, still they look so good in the game.
That thing is no more a working helicopter than a wooden mock-up is a tank. Even the Commanche was further along before it got the axe and this thing probably won't do all that better.
And proposing it for Alexandr is...holy ****, man. Just...no.
Tesla tanks come from an entirely different place, being a homage to earlier games that inspired the devs or just wasted a whole lot of their time in ages past.

Owww, just sit down n look pretty! It's a comment, not a **** - you shouldn't be takin it so hard! And - ****** aye - an experimental chopper would fit an experimental weapons general, especially in a storyline, developing about 30 yrs from now! Get yourself a long shower and come down. And leave my friggin' tea to me to worry about!
"It seems the flood begins"
To remind you or anyone else, the teams decision are final, this is not Tacticool-RTS 2014 either, because no one cares whether Tesla Tanks exist or not or whether some sikorsky heli would look better for Aleksandr. Frankly, that heli looks like some ****** futuristic design and nobody needs it.
Don't get your hopes so high up
i see what you did there
Doesnt original Lynx had 5 rotor blades?
nope: Military-today.com
Are they for regulsr ECA or particular general?
The_Hunter649 an you guys give it 4 infantry transport slots?
OR make the medivac of the ECA producable with 6 slots for either 6x infantry or 1x a vehicle. Because unit logistics is terrible for ECA. All other factions have a helicoper or a tunnel network.
its a trasnport unit?
no it's like an flying avenger of sort. it boosts fire rate of friendly units when they target the same hostile the bloodhound is, and if you have howitzer positions built it can mark them for fire via howitzers.
And they're also antistealth, right?
Will be nice analogue to Hind+'Script...
Time to track some GLA Vermin!
Where is now GypsyBastard to whine about ECA overpowered? :D
I think it can detect invisible units.
FINALLY, I CAN BE BOMBARDED BY ALL HOWITZERS AT ONCE >=/ mind you that is a feature i had mentioned in the past that would help make micro management while using ECA easier ;) thanks devs!
