Description
Designed to patrol Imperial space and form picket lines for attacking fleets, the Carrack quickly proved it's worth in the Imperial Navy. More heavily armed and armored than the smaller but faster Tartan-class, the Carrack makes an able defense against both fighters and smaller frigates alike. However, it's still too small to be considered a threat to larger capital ships or battlecruisers.
That is one mighty fine looking carrack model, it seems to have a lot more depth and definition than almost any other model of this ship I've ever seen. Well done.
Thank you. I think there aren't a lot of Carrack models out there and most of them for EaW are quite old... However, I'm glad to hear that I am meeting my own expectations of myself to be the very best, like no one ever was.
To model them is my real test... to texture is my cause...

True enough. However, they won't be quite that powerful in game, simply to discourage spam. Basically, they will be armed with medium lasers (Tartan is armed with dual-light lasers) and they are effective against fighters, other corvettes, and moderately so against frigates. The dorsal/ventral turrets will have that, while the two lateral turrets near the back will feature the ion cannons :)
Awww. It's so fun to have a fleet of several hundred Carracks and just destroy everything xD
