Rise of the Eagles update 1.4. Patch notes in the description
RotE 1.4 patch notes
--------------------------
Rise of the Eagles patch 1.4 is here at last.
This version adds many new traits and addresses more issues, including:
Campaign:
- Fixed incorrectly displayed leader portraits
- Fixed incorrectly displayed generals and diplomats textures
- Slightly altered some buildings and positions of a handful of cities
- Campaign difficulties Hard and Very Hard are particularly unforgiving. On Very Hard difficulty, France's AI faction has received significant bonuses that make it borderline unfair.
- New recruitable generals will have proper ratings and traits applied to them instead of being blank slates
- Permanent forts have been added in relevant locations where historically present and\or planned
- British admirals have a permanent bonus on creation, while French admirals have a high chance to get a permanent negative penalty to make naval warfare more historically even
- French line infantry's stats will decrease starting in late 1812 to reflect what historically happened
Miscellaneous
- Fixed some names not displaying correctly
- Ancillaries are now Battle Records, which identify the general's deeds throughout the campaign
- A rather long list of traits and new conditions has been applied. This includes:
1) possibility for a general to capture an enemy standard or an enemy Eagle in battle;
2) different outcomes based on faction for a general taking too much time in an occupied settlement;
3) withdrawing after an attempted attack might result in penalties;
4) sacking and exterminating settlements now give proper penalties;
5) particularly capable (more than 6 Command rating) Russian, Austrian and Prussian generals will learn from their mistakes each time they fight French generals and suffer clear defeats, making them progressively stronger every time they fight France again
6) high chance of unrest if French generals occupy enemy settlement without pacifying the region and their political allegiance is less than 45% in favour of Bonaparte
7) morale penalties for besieging a settlement and taking too many turns
Does this version include all your cool custom cities and tiles shown on pictures here?
There's no custom tiles.
hey so when i launch the mod it keeps crashing, there are no problems with other mos help?
Please provide the log file. Alternatively, did you launch it with the .bat file or the .exe file? Try the .bat if the .exe doesnt work. Also make sure you have the Steam version of MTW2.
This mod is a delight, incredible, I had spent years looking for something like this and finally I found it, thank God....
the work is excellent
In the future Will we see an option where we can initiate a charge to the enemy?
Can we have more range with the artillery? Perhaps 50% more would be more realistic, the cannons of the time had a long range.
postscript: I don't get tired of playing it, it's excellent, finally a campaign map worth conquering, the empire map and napoleon total war are too small, very few settlements.

Are the flags for the armies on the campaign map supposed to be invisible? because if so, it makes seeing where mine and the enemy's armies are, since the generals look hardly different from agents
