This mod completely overhauls the game. Each age now feels more extended and isn't rushed, as well as gameplay is more strategic than just spamming units from production facilities. It is best used in multiplayer. It also tries to re-balance the entire game and add unique units to underwhelming nations and take away unique units from overpowered ones. ATTENTION STEAM USERS: A STEAM-FRIENDLY VERSION HAS BEEN RELEASED ON THE STEAM WORKSHOP. READ THE BELOW ARTICLES FOR INFO.

2 points:
1- I do not understand the choice of nations that has the unique Trench building. I was expecting French and British to have them (because of WWI) and I didn't expect the American to have them (especially not if French and British don't). I figured it might be because of balanced since all nations seem to have 2 unique building each... except the Americans that have 3.

2- It would be nice to be able to garrison the trenches (as one would expect to be able to). That would allow a trench to "defend" itself against lone siege weapons (once its protecting infantry is destroyed by the trenches).

Extra: The added Knowledge cost makes perfect sense since General requires Knowledge too to be produced. I found it weird at first and then realized that it does require a lot of strategic/tactical planning from a nation to dig good trenches.

1 - I plan to change this in upcoming versions. The Americans won't have trenches anymore as well as some other nations. The reason why French and British don't have them is because of balance, since they would then have 3 unique buildings (and I'd hate to remove Naval Forts or Naval Outposts from them as they seem to fit better historically and balance-wise). I will change this in upcoming versions but I also have to make 3-4 new unique units to compensate for this.

2 - Garrisoning any custom building in this game is pretty much impossible, except for the units that the building produces. That's just how the game engine works and this is hardcoded. You wouldn't believe how many unique building ideas I had to scrap because of this...

The Knowledge cost is mostly there to prevent spamming.
