I wonder if there could be a supply module automatically launched from the top of the building everytime the resources are sent :P It would be a nice detail :)
tht wud be an interesting idea, to have the resources flown from dock to dock via some kind of aircraft, the amount of resources sent determining the size, speed and armor of the aircraft carrying it, along with the distance, all determining how much is deducted to build/use said aircraft.
i just thought about it, and if this were to be added, it wud only be for gameplay factor, because it would really sorta look dumb compared to the resource generators. i think they wud use the same teleportation method for resources.
but then it could also go deeper into this concept and make it so transports are needed to move mass entirely, from the extractors to a distribution center, and then from there to anything that is using mass.
or you could be supah simplistic and easy and make it so you can split the resources extracted/generated between said players, like simply sharing the extractor or generator.
i like the distribution center idea but i can imagine it requiring a ton of time to make it work properly. sadly this would take away supcoms unique resource gathering feature. but then who says you have to be rid of it? why not make it so the aeon are the only ones able to teleport resources instantly without the need of a distribution center? im rambling on again.

Frankly....i feel these types of buildings should have an antenna to signify it's a sending building.

And then it could be intercepted by enemies and the resources could then be claimed at the crash site.
exactly. that wud add a whole new concept to supcom. makes me think of small cloaked commando units that wud make omni sensors crucial to battle.
Except you would have to spawn those killable research boxes for that as a model....

I think this is meant to be a physical distribution dock, not digital.
